Blake is a native of Tuscaloosa County where he attended high school at Tuscaloosa Academy. After graduation from high school, he attended the University of Alabama where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2009. While at Alabama, Blake made the Dean’s List numerous times and was inducted into the Pi Tau Sigma Mechanical Engineering Honorary.

After graduating from the University of Alabama, Blake attended Samford University, Cumberland School of Law. During law school, Blake participated in trial and negotiation competitions.

ASSOCIATIONS

In law school, Blake was a member of Cumberland’s National Trial Team, competing in competitions in Pittsburgh, PA and Montgomery, AL. He also participated in the Street Law program where he had the opportunity to educate middle school students in the Jefferson County area about the law. Blake received his Juris Doctor degree in 2012.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE

Blake is married to the former Kristine Burns of Tuscaloosa County. They are members of Harvest Church in Northport, AL. Blake enjoys assisting Senior Partner, Robert Prince, in coaching the University of Alabama Law School’s trial teams.
