OUTSIDE THE OFFICE
Since retiring from the City of Tuscaloosa Legal Department, Mrs. Prince has been active in many civic and charitable organizations. She served for several years on the City of Tuscaloosa Planning and Zoning Commission. She is a past president of the Junior League of Tuscaloosa. She currently serves as President of the Administrative Board of First United Methodist Church of Tuscaloosa.
She is one of several teachers in the Covenant Sunday School class. She has served her church in other capacities, including President of United Methodist Women and as a member of the Board of Trustees. She was very active in her children’s school, Tuscaloosa Academy, serving as President of the Board of Trustees for 2 years. She is on the Board of Directors of Capstone Bank. Mrs. Prince was recently presented a lifetime achievement award by her social sorority, Alpha Chi Omega, in recognition of her service as an adviser.
She has also enjoyed being involved in Education for Ministry, a unique certificate program of experiential theological education. She served as a mentor after completion of the 4 year program. Assisting her husband with teaching and coaching Trial Advocacy at the University of Alabama Law School has been a rewarding experience for Mrs. Prince.
