Josh Hayes, Prince Glover Hayes Partner, Appointed to Standing Personnel Committee and Government Relations Liaison Committee for the Alabama State Bar

Josh Hayes, PGH partner, was recently appointed to the Standing Personnel Committee for the Alabama State Bar and the Alabama State Bar Foundation. Josh serves as an elected member of the Board of Bar Commissioners for the Alabama State Bar, representing Circuit 6, Place 1.
The purpose of the Personnel Standing Committee is to provide oversight for the Board of Bar Commissioners concerning all personnel matters for both the Alabama State Bar and the Alabama State Bar Foundation. The scope of the committee’s oversight shall include all personnel matters necessary for the functioning of any department of the bar or foundation.
The purpose of the Government Relations Liaison Committee is to provide liaison services to the State government; facilitate the function of the Legislature in passing laws which affect the judicial systems or the Alabama State Bar. Further, the Government Relations Liaison Committee may provide mediation or facilitation services at the request of members of the State government to help bring about constructive resolution of proposed legislation or to deal with problems of public concern.
