PGH attorneys Blake Williams and Matt Glover recently completed a three-day trial at the Tuscaloosa County courthouse. Their client was in a car collision in downtown Tuscaloosa that unfortunately tore her ACL in her left knee. The case was against Allstate Insurance Company. Mr. Williams and Mr. Glover’s client had an automobile insurance policy that provided her underinsured motorist benefits. Their client made a claim for those benefits in her case because the other driver did not have enough insurance.  At trial Mr. Williams and Mr. Glover were able to tell their client’s story of not only her physical injuries, but her two-year struggle with pain and how that affected her life as a wife, mother, and nurse. Allstate Insurance Company argued that Mr. Williams and Mr. Glover’s client did not have the injuries and damages she claimed. This argument was contrary to the evidence presented by their client’s husband, friend, and three doctors. In the end, justice prevailed and the jury awarded Mr. Williams and Mr. Glover’s client $100,000 to compensate her for all that she went through.
