Blake Williams, PGH Attorney, Files Lawsuit in Tuscaloosa County Circuit Court
February 8, 2022, 1:07pm
Blake Williams has filed a lawsuit in Tuscaloosa County circuit court on behalf of his client who was seriously injured in a car accident. The complaint states that the at-fault driver, the defendant, failed to yield the right of way, striking Blake’s client’s vehicle causing it to roll over. Blake also named as a defendant his client’s uninsured motorist insurance carrier. On the date of the collision, Blake’s client was treated in the emergency room and thereafter tried to manage the pain in his neck, back and shoulder. He also began to experience headaches and received trigger point injections for that problem. Unfortunately, Blake’s client was forced to undergo surgery by a neurosurgeon. After surgery, Blake’s client continued to deal with pain and completed a round of physical therapy.
Blake’s client has had to incur medical bills totaling over $36,000.00. The complaint alleges that the at-fault driver acted negligently, or wantonly (which is a conscious disregard to Blake’s client’s safety), and also that Blake’s client’s own insurance company owes his client all available uninsured/underinsured motorist benefits under the policy. Blake has already started the discovery process and is working hard to get his client compensated for his injuries and other damages.
