The Circuit Judge of Walker County, Alabama has ordered the parties to a lawsuit filed by PGH attorney Matt Glover to mediate the case. Matt filed the case in November 2019 after the July 2019 drowning of a 5-year-old girl in a pool owned and operated by the City of Jasper. Matt and PGH associate Coe Baxter have completed extensive discovery including taking the depositions of the mayor of Jasper, the manager of the pool, and two of the lifeguards on duty at the time of the drowning. Matt and Coe welcome the opportunity to present their positions to the mediator and hopefully reach a settlement of the case without the necessity of a trial. The attorneys at PGH use many of the same tools at mediation that they use at trial: video, expert opinions, and document evidence. PGH excels in this phase of a lawsuit because the attorneys prepare extensively and present their position skillfully and persuasively. If a loved one has died due to the wrongdoing of another, call Prince Glover Hayes. PGH has handled many wrongful death cases all around the state of Alabama.
