Josh Hayes, Prince Glover Hayes Partner, Serves as Local Counsel in Wrongful Death Cases Settling For a Combined $12 million

A wrongful death case in which Josh Hayes, PGH partner, served as local counsel was recently settled for $6,000,000. The case arose from a catastrophic railroad accident which claimed the life of a conductor trainee. A large law firm from Houston, Texas that handles railroad accidents across the nation reviewed Prince Glover Hayes’ track record and asked Josh to serve as local counsel. Since the Houston firm was out of state, they had to associate an attorney who is a member in good standing of the Alabama State Bar. As local counsel, Josh took an active role in the case, appearing at depositions, filing pleadings and attending and arguing at hearings.
Josh was also involved as co-counsel in a companion case on behalf of another railroad worker who was injured in the same incident. That case also resolved for $6,000,000.
