Matt Glover, PGH partner, has filed a lawsuit in Hale County, Alabama on behalf of his clients who were wrongfully denied benefits which were payable under a policy of insurance for which they had paid premiums.  The lawsuit, which names the insurance carrier as the defendant, alleges Matt’s clients’ home and shop were damaged by winds from a tornado.  The insurance policy covering their property provided windstorm protection and provided for roof surfaces extended coverage.  Matt’s clients notified the defendant company and complied with all applicable requirements under their policy.  The insurance company would not accept any of the three estimates of the damage Matt’s clients provided.  Instead, the company offered to pay them ten percent of the estimates they provided.
